Free first introductory call · 30 minutes

We talk for 30 minutes before you decide anything

The first call is introductory and free. You tell me what is going on, I explain how I work and you decide calmly whether to carry on.

Three ways of taking the first step

  • Pick your own slot

You see my real availability and book the introductory call when it suits you, with no messages back and forth.

  • If you would rather write first

Some people need to ask a couple of things before talking on the phone. Write to me and I will reply myself.

  • Straight to me

If you call and I do not pick up it is because I am in session: leave a message or send me an email and I will get back to you.

Tell me just enough to start

Your name and a way of reaching you is enough. Whatever you are going through does not have to be written down: it is easier said than typed.

You get me, not a switchboard. If I am in session I will take a while, but I do reply.

In person, online or at home

Everything is by appointment: there is no shared waiting room and no crossing paths with anyone, and that is part of looking after the process too. From Granollers, Cardedeu, La Garriga, Llinars or Mollet you are a few minutes away by car.

  • At the practice

In La Roca del Vallès, a step away from the Vallès Oriental. The option for those who prefer meeting face to face and a space separate from home.

  • Online

By video call, with the same continuity as at the practice. Useful if you live far away, travel, or your timings are tight.

  • At home

In specific cases and within Barcelona and the surrounding area. We weigh it up on the call, because it does not fit every process.

Three steps, no surprises

  1. You choose the day and time

You see the free slots in the calendar. You book the one you want and get a confirmation by email.

  2. We talk for 30 minutes

You tell me what brings you here, I answer your questions and I tell you frankly whether I think I can help or whether another professional would suit you better.

  3. You decide

If you want to carry on, we arrange the first session and the format. If not, that is fine: the call commits you to nothing.

What people usually ask me

Does the first call cost anything?

No. It is 30 minutes, free and with no obligation to continue. It is there for you to tell me what is going on and to see whether how I worksuits you. The session prices are under fees.

Does my partner have to be on the call?

Not necessarily: you can do it on your own or with your partner. If the process ends up being couples therapy, the usual thing is for you both to be there from the first session onwards.

Does online therapy work the same?

For most processes yes, and it keeps the continuity when timings or distance make coming to the practice difficult. I explain it under online couples therapy; on the call we weigh up which format suits you best.

What happens to what I tell you?

Everything said in the room is protected by the professional confidentiality set out in the code of ethics of the Col·legi Oficial de Psicologia de Catalunya.

If you are going through a very hard time, do not wait for my reply. If you are thinking of harming yourself, call 024: it is free, confidential and open 24 hours. In an emergency, call 112. If you are experiencing gender-based violence, 016 is free and does not appear on your phone bill.
